Higher Learning, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides active educational programming for youth, ages 11-17, in the Maryland area.
Our programs arm students with the skills, experiences, and habits of thinking that are ultimately expected of them, but are part of no standard school curriculum. To promote ethical, socially conscious leadership and action, we think, do and go!
Higher Learning emphasizes important skills for the 21st century such as global awareness, creativity, and team work. Central to the program's mission are opportunities for local and global travel to which youth without financial means would not ordinarily have access.
