Support Higher Learning, Inc.

HL Partners | HL Donors 2014

Please note that Higher Learning Inc. has brought its direct educational services to a close.

We are now using our remaining resources to provide grant support for students and alumni to participate in other educational and developmental activities. If you would like to contribute to this grant fund, please see the donation information below.

As stated by author and education scholar Jonathan Kozol, if the best educational opportunities are good for the children of the rich, they are just as beneficial for children with less. Your support makes it possible for Higher Learning to offer lower income youth the enrichment opportunities that tend to be reserved for the economically and socially advantaged.

To Make a Tax Deductible Donation:

Donations of all sizes are greatly appreciated, even $1. Small donations add up to larger amounts. Donations of $0 due to embarrassment over giving a small contribution add up to $0! Every dollar counts.

Special thanks to the Carroll County Public Schools, the Westminster East Middle School staff and Principal Christian Roemer, and the Westminster Community of Shalom for providing us with program meeting space.

Thanks also to our issue area experts (the Higher Learning guest presenters/teachers) who volunteered their time and energy to share their knowledge with us.

Thanks to Common Ground on the Hill for waiving the course fees for our students!

Higher Learning also gives special recognition to its volunteers who provide invaluable assistance, especially Alyson Pagano and Jada Collins.

And thanks to the many other community members, advisors, supporters, friends and family members who have offered information and moral support for this program. Apologies to anyone inadvertently omitted.
